How I Get Through My Depression

When I am down I always remember the things that I am grateful for.   One of the reasons I stay strong is for my beautiful cat Bianca.  She brings me great joy and comfort and I love her dearly.  I could never leave her and she gives me motivation to keep strong.  I also love my family and friends and know they love me.  If I ever gave up on life I would be hurting more people than just myself.  Giving up on life is a very selfish thing to do as you affect many other people in the process.  You might not realize it at the time when you are feeling that way but think of all the people that have lost someone who gave up on life.  They are affected for the rest of their lives and wish they could have done something to prevent them  from leaving this earth.  You might be gone but life still goes on for the rest of us.  Someone has to pay for your funeral, your debts, and live with guilt for not doing enough to prevent this from happening. Sometimes you have to look outside of yourself and see how others are affected by your actions. Before you decide to give up on life visualize the impact that you will have on others, visualize how things could be different if you have gotten help.    Visualize how others who are less fortunate than you are staying strong and going on with their lives.

I like to read positive motivational books like The Attractor Factor by Joe Vitale.  This book helps you condition your mind so that you can attract the things that you would want in your life such as happiness, wealth, health or anything else.  What you think about you really do bring about.  It really is amazing what your mind and your thoughts can manifest.   If you haven’t tried self help books, I would highly recommend that you listen to or read The Attractor Factor.

Some other great resources by Joe Vitale that have helped me include:

Money Beyond Belief by Dr. Joe Vitale and Brad Yates

The Awakening Course: Attracting Wealth, Health, Happiness and Love.

One of the mantras that I practice from one of Joe Vitale books Zero limits is based on an Hawaiian mantra by Dr. Hew Len in which you say;

I’m Sorry

Please Forgive Me

Thank You

I Love You

You say this everyday and especially when you are thinking negative thoughts.  You will see how quickly things change if you practice this everyday. I would suggest you learn about the whole system first so that it will effectively work for you.
